GLOVERSVILLE- The United Way of Fulton County has announced that applications for funding for the 2018-2019 fiscal year are available in their Gloversville offices, starting on Monday, March 5, 2018. Applications are also available electronically and may be obtained by emailing Lisa Pfeiffer on or after March 5 at unitedway@frontiernet.net .
The United Way of Fulton County (UWFC)continues its work to build a stronger community, creating opportunities for everyone by focusing on the three basic building blocks of a good life – education (helping children and youth achieve their potential), income (promoting financial stability and independence) and health (improving personal health). Input from community members, contributors and others affirm the value our community places on these issues.
Human service providers are asked to propose strategies, with defined outcomes and measurable results, to help us advance in these areas. We will continue to use program outcomes and the United Way program outcome logic model as our evaluation method.
To be considered for funding, agencies must qualify as tax exempt under federal law and cannot discriminate because of race, color, religion, sex, age, marital status, national origin, political affiliation, or disability. Agency applicants must provide programs or services in Fulton County.
